Jonathan Raine

Jonathan Raine

Jonathan Raine is the Director of Partners in Training, a UK-based consultancy specialising in professional development within the Healthcare sector, Life Sciences, and Academia. Partners in Training’s core focus is on developing excellence in Communication and Leadership skills.

 Jonathan’s work, either virtually or face-to-face, takes him to all four corners of the world designing and delivering inspirational training and working with clients to understand and overcome their learning and development challenges. Jonathan is often asked to give Keynote talks on communication of medical and scientific data.

Ken Goodier

Ken Goodier

Before becoming a full-time Training Consultant, Ken had a successful career in the Pharmaceutical Industry in the UK and USA, working in Sales, Marketing and Clinical Research roles prior to taking responsibility at UK Board Director level.

Ken has considerable experience of working with a wide range of businesses globally, and has been responsible for the design, development, and delivery of several major development programmes in a wide range of sectors, including petrochemicals, finance, and healthcare.

His specialisms are leadership skills and motivating high performing teams. Ken is also accredited to develop and deliver workshops within multiple UK government departments.

Roshni Mooneeram

Roshni Mooneeram

Roshni Mooneeram

Roshni is a strategy consultant, executive coach, facilitator and speaker in the fields of inclusive leadership development, transformation and innovation. She has worked with a range of international organisations across sectors and industries for over twenty years and supported leaders and teams globally through both in-house and consultancy roles. Roshni has a strategic understanding of EDI as business critical to organisational growth and innovation.

Roshni drives transformation journeys that serve to connect the dots between representation, inclusion, enhanced organisational performance and innovation. She has sector expertise in biomedical research institutes, intergovernmental organisations and the private sector globally. Additionally, Roshni sits on a number of institutional advisory boards in Europe.

Roshni is a consultant in the governance and strategic management of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in European and global organisations. She has leadership experience in creating, implementing, and evaluating EDI and transformation programmes, and expertise in leveraging the behavioural sciences to drive Inclusive Leadership, innovation and performance, especially in life science institutes.

Prior to her consultancy work, Roshni worked in academia and remains Honorary Associate Professor of the University of Nottingham, UK.  Roshni was also formerly Head of the EDI Office at the European Molecular Biology Lab (EMBL). She holds a PhD in the Social Sciences from the University of Leeds, a CIPD Level 7 Award in Learning and Development and a LSE Executive Certificate in Inclusive Leadership through Behavioural Science.

Roshni has consulted at organisations including The African Union, CNRS, CERN, European Commission Directorates, European Energy Exchange, HSBC, Institute of Molecular Medicine and the Max Delbruck Centre for Molecular Medicine.

Cheryl Bennett

Cheryl Bennett

Cheryl has over 20 years’ experience of people and organisational development, and as a master practitioner of NLP, she coaches at executive level, specialising in management assessment and development.

On behalf of Partners in Training, The Institute of Leadership and Management, and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Cheryl has designed and delivered accredited training programmes and provided management consultancy services.

Cheryl has considerable experience delivering effective presentation and speaker skills training workshops globally within the healthcare sector.

Joel Tiffney

Joel has been training since 2008. Since then, he has designed and delivered tailor-made courses for professional people from all over the world. He initially specialised in helping people to achieve their academic goals, but over the last few years, has used his skills to help professional people to work more confidently and more successfully.

More recently, Joel has embraced the move towards digital delivery by producing a range of multimedia courses and course materials including training videos, podcasts, webinars and online presentations.

Barry Stainthorp

Barry Stainthorp

As a founding member of Partners in Training, Barry has developed and delivered training programmes for multinational companies representing a range of industrial and commercial sectors.

Barry’s principal area of focus is the healthcare sector, specifically utilising his expertise in communication and leadership. Common training assignments range from delivering presentation skills training, to dealing with the media, to running sessions Strategic Leadership.

Barry works extensively, either virtually or face-to-face, as a C-suite executive coach and is a member of the faculty of the Executive MBA programme at the Danish Technical University (DTU).

Victoria Kennedy

Victoria Kennedy

Victoria has previously held positions in large international companies, including a senior management role in corporate communications within the pharmaceutical sector.

As a fully fluent Spanish speaker, she has wide-ranging experience as a translator and interpreter, specialising in the healthcare and education sectors.

Since joining Partners in Training, Victoria has delivered speaker training and presentation skills workshops in both English and Spanish, and particularly throughout central and south America.

Mike Hogan

Mike Hogan

Mike is passionate about supporting leaders, teams and organisations with their international communication and collaboration. He is particularly interested in the dynamics of leading and working in intercultural cross-border and virtual teams as well more general topics of personal effectiveness, performance enablement, competency development and talent retention.

He is also an accredited leadership trainer for the Institutions of the European Union and is comfortable working through English and German.

He has extensive experience in digital learning development, virtual training, event live streaming and trainer training.

Richard Hawker

Richard Hawker

Richard plays an active role in delivering training and consultancy around the world, and he was previously Managing Director of Partners in Training’s holding company York Associates. Richard is a fluent Spanish speaker, and as such, is particularly in demand for training delivery in Latin and Central America.

Richard’s work in the healthcare sector has included coaching and rehearsing the delivery of high-quality keynote presentations, working with post-doctoral clinical teams, and developing speaker teams for Investigator and Results Meetings.

Richard is regularly invited to train specialist speakers for regional and local meetings. He also works with KOLs at major annual events, such as the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) and the International Diabetes Federation (IDF).

With over 30 years’ experience in designing, delivering and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives and business development concepts, Regent has a broad perspective on the learning and development landscape.

Regent has considerable expertise and experience in facilitating learning at different levels of an organisation, be it as consultant, trainer or coach. In so doing, he has worked in a wide range of business areas, from Oil and Gas, to banking and finance, and across to healthcare and the pharmaceutical sector.

Within the healthcare sector, Regent regularly facilitates presentation skills and key speaker rehearsal sessions whether face-to-face or in the virtual world. He gets great satisfaction from seeing individuals improve their performance within a short space of time.

Andrea Street

Andrea Street

Andrea is an English Language, Business and Soft Skills trainer specialising in helping international professionals improve their English Communication skills in the corporate world.

Having a dual degree in Business and Finance from Leeds University and Bremen Hochschule as well as having practical experience working in the fields of Marketing and Sales, both in Spain and Germany in international companies, gives Andrea a well-rounded background to fall back on, when advising and helping international professionals.

Andrea has held many on-site seminars at large multi-nationals and has now embraced the medium of online training as an integral part of the learning path.

Andrea speaks fluent German and Spanish.

Julie Brearey

Julie joined Partners in Training in 2002, following a successful career in the insurance industry, where she gained valuable experience in managing staff, overseeing projects, and implementing organisational change.

Utilising her business experience enables Julie to provide training, coaching, and consultancy across a variety of industries. She is also a qualified teacher and teacher trainer and has extensive experience in delivering and providing quality assurance for accredited qualifications.

Since 2007, Julie has worked with a variety of organisations within the healthcare sector delivering presentation skills training programmes to international audiences. Julie particularly enjoys the challenge of working with diverse groups to encourage the sharing of their experience and building their confidence in communicating with different audiences.

Dale Coulter

Dale Coulter

Dale is an experienced trainer and consultant, specialising in presentation skills and international team leadership, with a particular interest in developing people who work in multi-cultural teams.

His work takes him across the globe, training in a multitude of sectors and different levels throughout an organisation. This involves face-to-face training, e-learning content development and delivery, as well as virtual training. Dale has delivered training engagements on topics such as presentation skills, team collaboration, problem-solving and business communication skills.

Dale’s experience includes rehearsing Keynote speakers for international conferences and coaching specialists in the pharmaceutical industry. He is also an accredited facilitator for FIERCE conversations.

Sarah Henley

Sarah Henley

Sarah has worked for Partners in Training since 2006 following her previous roles within supply chain management. She has designed and delivered a wide range of training programmes, including BTEC Core Competency programme which included Presentation skills as well as Negotiation skills.

Sarah has more recent experience in delivering Academic and Business Communication courses globally, including the Middle East and South-East Asia, enhancing the intercultural communication within large organisations.

Sarah is a strong believer in professional development and the importance of effective positive communication. She has a particular expertise in providing training in business communication skills, negotiations & meetings, and creative thinking.

Mike Mortby

Mike Mortby

Mike joined the Partners in Training team following a successful career in Operations Management within the Financial Services industry, where he was responsible for developing a team of over 300 staff.

Whilst working with Partners in Training, Mike has delivered a wide variety of soft skills training, as well as financial awareness, performance management and leadership development workshops. He has also facilitated presentation skills and speaker rehearsal sessions, primarily within the healthcare sector.

Mike is a professionally qualified executive coach and has additional expertise in the fields of recruitment, career transition and outplacement support.
