As Director of Partners in Training, Jonathan divides his time between designing and delivering inspirational training and working with clients to understand and overcome learning and development challenges.
After over ten years living overseas, in 2006, Jonathan returned to the UK and joined Partners in Training. Either virtually or in the traditional face-to-face environment his primary focus is in the healthcare sector. Working closely with pharmaceutical companies, institutions, and academia, Jonathan’s professional interests are in medical and scientific communication and leadership.
Jonathan is frequently asked to deliver keynote and is a practitioner for Team Management Profile.
As a founding member of Partners in Training, Barry has developed and delivered training programmes for multinational companies representing a range of industrial and commercial sectors.
Barry’s principal area of focus is the healthcare sector, specifically utilising his expertise in communication and leadership. Common training assignments range from delivering presentation skills training, to dealing with the media, to running sessions Strategic Leadership.
Barry works extensively, either virtually or face-to-face, as a C-suite executive coach and is a member of the faculty of the Executive MBA programme at the Danish Technical University (DTU).
Tom is an experienced trainer, presenter and writer who has worked in the field of international communication skills training for over ten years. He is particularly experienced in designing and delivering bespoke training programmes to clients worldwide within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
Tom delivers training in areas ranging from developing multinational team collaboration on international projects to workshops on ensuring clearer communication in virtual contexts.
Tom holds an MA in Applied Linguistics and is currently working towards a PhD in the field of international education. He is also a regular presenter at conferences worldwide on topics related to his fields of international communication and education.
Richard is Managing Director of Partners in Training’s holding company York Associates and plays an active role in delivering training and consultancy around the world. Richard is a fluent Spanish speaker, and as such, is particularly in demand for training delivery in Latin and Central America.
Richard’s work in the healthcare sector has included coaching and rehearsing the delivery of high-quality keynote presentations, working with post-doctoral clinical teams, and developing speaker teams for Investigator and Results Meetings.
Richard is regularly invited to train specialist speakers for regional and local meetings. He also works with KOLs at major annual events, such as the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD) and the International Diabetes Federation (IDF).
Helen is a Cambridge accredited teacher trainer who has many years’ experience in senior management within the education sector.
Since joining Partners in Training, Helen has delivered a range of management, personal leadership, and development workshops. Specifically, within the healthcare sector, she has extensive experience in facilitating presentation and speaking skills sessions in both English and French.
Helen has a particular interest in the development of professional communication skills, including intercultural awareness and international collaboration skills. She has spoken at international conferences in France, Poland, Italy and Thailand, as well as in the UK.
With over 30 years’ experience in designing, delivering and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives and business development concepts, Regent has a broad perspective on the learning and development landscape.
Regent has considerable expertise and experience in facilitating learning at different levels of an organisation, be it as consultant, trainer or coach. In so doing, he has worked in a wide range of business areas, from Oil and Gas, to banking and finance, and across to healthcare and the pharmaceutical sector.
Within the healthcare sector, Regent regularly facilitates presentation skills and key speaker rehearsal sessions whether face-to-face or in the virtual world. He gets great satisfaction from seeing individuals improve their performance within a short space of time.
Cheryl has over 20 years’ experience of people and organisational development, and as a master practitioner of NLP, she coaches at executive level, specialising in management assessment and development.
On behalf of Partners in Training, The Institute of Leadership and Management, and the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Cheryl has designed and delivered accredited training programmes and provided management consultancy services.
Cheryl has considerable experience delivering effective presentation and speaker skills training workshops globally within the healthcare sector.
Julie joined Partners in Training in 2002, following a successful career in the insurance industry, where she gained valuable experience in managing staff, overseeing projects, and implementing organisational change.
Utilising her business experience enables Julie to provide training, coaching, and consultancy across a variety of industries. She is also a qualified teacher and teacher trainer and has extensive experience in delivering and providing quality assurance for accredited qualifications.
Since 2007, Julie has worked with a variety of organisations within the healthcare sector delivering presentation skills training programmes to international audiences. Julie particularly enjoys the challenge of working with diverse groups to encourage the sharing of their experience and building their confidence in communicating with different audiences.
Before becoming a full-time Training Consultant, Ken had a successful career in the Pharmaceutical Industry in the UK and USA, working in Sales, Marketing and Clinical Research roles prior to taking responsibility at UK Board Director level.
Ken has considerable experience of working with a wide range of businesses globally, and has been responsible for the design, development, and delivery of several major development programmes in a wide range of sectors, including petrochemicals, finance, and healthcare.
His specialisms are leadership skills and motivating high performing teams. Ken is also accredited to develop and deliver workshops within multiple UK government departments.
Dale is an experienced trainer and consultant, specialising in presentation skills and international team leadership, with a particular interest in developing people who work in multi-cultural teams.
His work takes him across the globe, training in a multitude of sectors and different levels throughout an organisation. This involves face-to-face training, e-learning content development and delivery, as well as virtual training. Dale has delivered training engagements on topics such as presentation skills, team collaboration, problem-solving and business communication skills.
Dale’s experience includes rehearsing Keynote speakers for international conferences and coaching specialists in the pharmaceutical industry. He is also an accredited facilitator for FIERCE conversations.
Victoria has previously held positions in large international companies, including a senior management role in corporate communications within the pharmaceutical sector.
As a fully fluent Spanish speaker, she has wide-ranging experience as a translator and interpreter, specialising in the healthcare and education sectors.
Since joining Partners in Training, Victoria has delivered speaker training and presentation skills workshops in both English and Spanish, and particularly throughout central and south America.
David has over 30 years’ experience as a specialist trainer and executive coach, working in leadership development, professional development, and business soft skills.
As well as considerable experience within the healthcare sector, David has developed and delivered training programmes for managers within the oil and gas, and automotive industries.
David has worked with individuals and groups in multinational organisations worldwide, especially in Central Europe and the Middle East. A keen linguist, David delivers sessions in French, either virtually or face-to-face, on effective presentation skills for medical professionals. He is also a contributor to professional magazines on topics relating to language and communication.
Sarah has worked for Partners in Training since 2006 following her previous roles within supply chain management. She has designed and delivered a wide range of training programmes, including BTEC Core Competency programme which included Presentation skills as well as Negotiation skills.
Sarah has more recent experience in delivering Academic and Business Communication courses globally, including the Middle East and South-East Asia, enhancing the intercultural communication within large organisations.
Sarah is a strong believer in professional development and the importance of effective positive communication. She has a particular expertise in providing training in business communication skills, negotiations & meetings, and creative thinking.
Mike joined the Partners in Training team following a successful career in Operations Management within the Financial Services industry, where he was responsible for developing a team of over 300 staff.
Whilst working with Partners in Training, Mike has delivered a wide variety of soft skills training, as well as financial awareness, performance management and leadership development workshops. He has also facilitated presentation skills and speaker rehearsal sessions, primarily within the healthcare sector.
Mike is a professionally qualified executive coach and has additional expertise in the fields of recruitment, career transition and outplacement support.
